Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa will undergo renovation works from 24 October – 18 December. The hotel has already undergone soft renovation works of some public areas this year.
The next phase will see extensive guestroom refurbishment, introducing Bose iPod and iPhone docking stations, an updated version of Sofitel’s Mybed and an overall “new look and feel”. This will involve a luxury upgrade of all furniture, carpet floorings, paint, wallpaper and glass shower screens.
As part of the facelift, Sofitel will also introduce a new Luxury Room category available from April 2012, positioned above the resort’s Superior Room type yet below its suites.
General Manager Adam Laker offered assurance that guests’ experience would not be affected by the works, saying; “We don’t want our current guests to be inconvenienced, so at no time will they ever see any work in progress, as we will isolate each block being worked on one at a time.”
