Sokha Hotels & Resorts has unveiled another building at Sokha Siem Reap Resort & Convention Center – the largest hotel in the Cambodian city.
The new Banteay Srei building, which is located adjacent to the convention centre, will add 224 more rooms and suites to the hotel’s inventory. All new rooms will come equipped with IPTV systems, while the wing also features a café-lounge, restaurant and a new lobby adorned with authentic Khmer artworks.
The name of the building, ‘Banteay Srei’, reflects the 10th Century temple located close to the Angkor complex.
“This building is the perfect complement to our recently launched first Ta Prohm Building and… would provide the meeting organisers with easy access to the events and meetings hall, surrounded by the blossom garden and fruits farm,” said Kun Thanet, Sokha’s regional director of sales. “Guests of the resort can look forward to experiencing the Sokha ‘True Khmer Hospitality’ philosophy, delivering excellent service, comfort and style.”
This becomes the third of five buildings planned for the vast hotel complex. Following the opening of the new wing, Sokha Siem Reap Resort & Convention Center will feature a total of 448 rooms and suites.
“We are very pleased to welcome guests to the Sokha Siem Reap Resort & Convention Center,” said acting general manager, Hang Vannak. “The Sokha brand is known for providing an elevated level of service and we look forward to delivering this to our guests.”
