South Korea reroutes flights to avoid North

South Korea’s two largest airlines, Korean Air and Asiana, have rerouted flights after North Korea said it could not guarantee their safety.
The BBC reported that approximately 200 flights will avoid North Korean airspace over the next two weeks as tensions between the two countries mount. The exer4cise will cost the airlines approximately KRW4 million (US$2,500) per flight, the BBC estimates.
