Fifty-one flights had been cancelled by early Wednesday afternoon due to a strike at Budapest’s Ferihegy Airport, the International Herald Tribune reported. A total of 25 arrivals and 26 departures were affected, according to airport spokesperson, Domokos Szollar.
The strike was called by two trade unions after negotiations with the airport management on better contract terms failed.
