Strong quake rocks Taiwan

An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale rocked Taiwan on Saturday night, shaking buildings in the west of the island, according to a Taiwan News report. No serious damage was reported, 14 people were injured by falling rocks and over 100 aftershocks were registered. The epicenter of the quake was around 25km southeast of Hualien City, the report said.
