Suntec Singapore is joining the Earth Hour effort on March 29 by switching off the multi-coloured lights that illuminate the sails on its roof. Lights at the lobby and driveway will also be switched off.
Started in Sydney in 2007, Earth Hour is a global initiative where cities and communities will turn out their lights to symbolise their commitment to finding We are part of the global effort to reduce greenhouse gases. We see ourselves as an industry leader, especially in efforts to go green, and we hope the hour long ‘disappearance’ of the unique architecture of Suntec Singapore will draw more attention to this worthy cause,” said Pieter Idenburg, Suntec Singapore’s Chief Executive Officer.
