Vietnam’s tourism sector is taking significant strides towards environmental sustainability as all Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) members pledge to eliminate single-use plastics and integrate plastic waste reduction into operational policies by 2030

Responding to the announcement of a further ban on single-use plastics, which will include plates, cutlery and bowls, UKHospitality Chief Executive Kate Nicholls said: “Sustainability is a priority for the hospitality sector, with UKHospitality committed to the industry-wide goal of reaching net zero by 2040, which includes completely eliminating single-use plastics.
