Bespoke holiday options are seeing a boom at Hayes & Jarvis in a similar trend to other operators in the luxury sector.
The TUI-owned brand said tailor-made itineraries to Africa and India are leading a boom in the holiday type, alongside a continued late booking trend.
“We have seen a 10% growth in our tailor-made bookings since the beginning of the year with multi centre trips accounting for more than 25% of our business. A growing number of travellers want to experience more than one city or destination in one trip – whether it’s beach and a safari or discovering hidden Asian gems– our customers are keen to explore,” said Sean Dowd, commercial director at Hayes & Jarvis.
Generally five-star bookings at the operator have been driven largely by deals to the Dominican Republic, Mauritius and Mexico while favourites New York, Thailand and Las Vegas still its top sellers.
Sales to Kenya have dipped for the operator following the shopping centre attacks last month but the company is seeing a recovery in bookings to Egypt.
