TAM extends mobile coverage onboard

TAM Airlines is to introduce its GSM and WiFi services onboard long-haul flights. The carrier has decided to place the OnAir system across its long-haul network following its success on its short-haul routes. Through the services, passengers are able to make phone calls, send and receive SMS texts and emails and use the internet.
