TAM to join Star Alliance

TAM Airlines will become a full member of the Star Alliance in the next few months.Events to mark the membership are being scheduled in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro with TAM’s executives and Star Alliance partners.Once it is a full member, from 13 May, Tam will share products and services with 26 other airlines, including the integration of frequent flyer programs.TAM has already moved its London Heathrow operations from Terminal 4 to Terminal 1 as part of its full integration into the Star Alliance. The move, on Sunday, 28 March, facilitates connections with TAM’s new Star Alliance partners who operate from both Terminal 1 and 3.
