TAT plans more group weddings

In an effort to lure more foreign couples planning weddings, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will make group-wedding ceremonies an annual event. According to a report in The Nation, wedding and honeymoon tourism has become a potentially lucrative market for Thailand, and the TAT’s Deputy Governor, Auggaphol Brickshawana, said that was a key part of attracting high-end tourists.
