TCA Abu Dhabi to host regional Iftars

Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) recently announced its intent to organize media Iftars across six cities during the Holy Month.
This is being dne to raise the profile of the recently launched Abu Dhabi Summer Season 2015.
Commencing from 21 June, the Iftar banquets will be held in Jeddah, Riyadh and Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia, followed by Kuwait City, Doha and finally Muscat.
“Our valued GCC guests choose Abu Dhabi for its tourist attractions and natural landscape. Our Abu Dhabi Summer Season programme promises Gulf visitors family entertainment in a traditional atmosphere,” said Sultan Al Mansoori, KSA country manager TCA Abu Dhabi, with responsibility for the GCC.
For the first four months of 2015, Saudi Arabia has been Abu Dhabi’s largest GCC source market with 46,576 visitors, a solid increase of 46% over last year, followed by Oman with 21,342 visitors marking 12% growth over the same period. Qatar accounted for 9,793 visitors, with 9,776 Kuwaiti’s visitor over the same period.
