Banyan Tree has reportedly witnessed a 51% fall in third-quarter operating profit, and the slump has been largely attributed to the continuing political unrest in Thailand, the Bangkok-based Nation newspaper has reported. The Singapore-based group posted a SG$9.2 million (US$6.1 million) profit for the three-month period.
