Thai Airways International (THAI) has announced its performance results for 2010, with passenger traffic rising 5.9% compared to 2009. The airline added 5.0% more capacity last year allowing its load factor to climb 0.8 percentage points to 75.3%. The result marks a strong performance for the national carrier, in spite of the political violence that hit Bangkok earlier this year, which caused a significant drop in arrivals to Thailand during April and May.
