The latest industry appointments

Jesper With-Fogstrup has been promoted to new managing director of The LateRoomsGroup. With-Fogstrup joined the group in April 2012 as operations director and has been interim MD since February when Chris Morris stepped down. His role encompasses looking after the LateRooms, AsiaRooms and MalaPronta brands.

Peter Liney has been named as CEO of Great Rail Journeys. Liney joins the tour operator from STA Travel where he was CEO for eight years. Previous roles also include senior positions at ebookers.com. TravelBag and British Airways.

Danielle Shepherd has joined Red Sea Holidays as trade relations manager for northern England and Scotland. Shepherd previously worked at a Thomas Cook contact centre for 10 years. She is the third member of Red Sea’s trade team.

Emma Wood has been announced as Merlin Entertainments’ new group marketing director. The appointment marks a new group-wide marketing role for the attraction operator. Wood is currently group marketing director for the Pizza Express restaurant chain.

Kay Bustin is now head of product marketing at Directline Holidays. Bustin joins the OTA from Teletext Holidays and will now lead Directline’s product and price mix as well as generate new business.

Emilie Mouquot has been appointed marketing director for multilingual at Viator. Mouquot joins the site from Cheapflights where she was global head of paid search.

Gianna Rivera has been named as global director of distribution sales at Pegasus Solutions. Rivera joins the technology company from Travel Technology Consulting and also spent four years at Accor North America.

Irene Hoek has been appointed head of global development for the Dorchester Collection. Hoek joins the luxury hotelier from IHG, where she held the position of vice president of development. She has also headed-up Starwood’s North American development division.

Sallie Fraenkel has joined the Global Spa & Wellness Sumit as executive vice president. Fraenkel is to lead business development, marketing, PR and event management for the organisation. She is previously chief marketing officer, COO and executive VP at SpaFinder Wellness.
