Thomas Cook expands in Newcastle

Thomas Cook has announced that it will be basing a fourth aircraft at Newcastle International Airport next summer. The new aircraft will offer approximately 70, 000 extra seats through the peak holiday season on 54 flights, including a reintroduced service to Bourgas, Bulgaria. Extra flights will also operate to Paphos, Larnaca, Dalaman, Izmir, Mahon, Ibiza, Palma and Tenerife. “The people of the North East have shown great loyalty to us over the years and that is why it is great for us to be able to make this announcement,” said Thomas Cook UK and Ireland CEO Ian Derbyshire.
