Three Costa Cruise ships will head to Genoa this month for maintenance work.
Costa Voyager, Costa neoRiviera and Costa Classica will all be serviced at the San Giorgio del Porto shipyard in an investment worth EUR10 million.
Costa Voyager entered the dockyard on Thursday (7 November) for two weeks with work mainly concentrating on its hull and engine sections.
Costa neoRiviera also went to Genoa yesterday for hull and engine work as well as renovations to its open-air decks and inside areas. The ship previously operated as the Grand Mistral for Iberocruceros and has been going through changes to be in line with other Costa ships.
Finally Costa Classica will go into the shipyard on 12 November for a months’ routine maintenance across its hotel section, hull and engine.
Costa Voyager (24,400 gross tonnage) will be serviced for about two weeks from 7 November, while Costa neoRiviera (48,200 gross tonnage) will be in the shipyard from 7-12 November and Costa Classica (53,000 gross tonnage) will receive maintenance works from 12 November to 21 December.
