Tibet Airlines to launch flights in July

Tibet Airlines Company, the first passenger airline based in the mountainous region of China, will start its operations in July, the company said this week. The carrier’s first Airbus A320 aircraft will be delivered on 7 July allowing Tibet Airlines to launch flights between Lhasa and Beijing from 20 July. The airline will receive two further aircraft in August and plans to expand its fleet size to 20 planes within five years.
