Tiger plans aggressive expansion

Tiger Airways has embarked on an aggressive expansion plan after the launch of services on the Sydney-Melbourne route. According to a report in The Australian, the low-cost carrier is looking to increase its 17 domestic routes, starting with the introduction of a daily flight from Sydney to Adelaide from the end of the month.
Tiger Australia’s Managing Director, Shelley Roberts, was reported saying that the company aimed to increase its fleet to 30 aircraft from its present six by 2014.
