TIPTO has taken its roadshow event format ‘off road’ for the first time, hosting 100 suppliers and agents for lunch onboard a cruise ship at Tilbury Docks. This event, held in conjunction with Cruise and Maritime Voyages onboard its Columbus vessel, takes TIPTO’s roadshow format to the next level, giving agents the chance to sample a product first -and to really get a feel for how to successfully sell it to clients.
TIPTO’s Face 2 Face events provide an educational opportunity for agents to pick up hints and tips from the association’s long-standing members, as well as meet new suppliers and make other agent contacts.
Every roadshow event offers the opportunity to learn about new products, gain market intelligence and receive tips on increasing sales. Also included is an opportunity to network with peers over drinks and dinner. Prizes are on offer an these events and include a £500 holiday voucher at each roadshow and a £1,000 holiday voucher at each SuperShow; as well as shopping vouchers, and places on fam trips.
Roadshow events run from 6pm – 10pm and are free to attend. Agents can meet up to 12 tour operators at each of the Face 2 Face with TIPTO Roadshows or all 24 suppliers plus guest exhibitors and entertainment at the SuperShows. TIPTO also holds a charity prize raffle to support a chosen charity with fundraising; this year TIPTO will again support Reuben’s Retreat.
