TMS signs deal with Polonious Resources

TMS Asia-Pacific has formalised an agreement with Sydney-based behavioral advisory Polonious Resources, to supply the executive recruitment specialist with candidate transition, outplacement and mentoring services across its entire international operation.
Announcing the agreement in Sydney, CEO Andrew Chan said the arrangement would also see Polonious Resources provide TMS with a psychometric assessment service that can be conducted on potential candidates for a wide range of job positions.
Chan said one of the biggest benefits psychometric profiling delivers was the fact that it provided a means of effectively assessing a candidate’s strengths and weaknesses while at the same time presenting an objective insight into a person’s behaviour and temperament.
“This includes their social confidence, attitude, motivation, leadership and decision-making styles, sales potential, capacity to work under pressure and ability to work individually or as a team,” Chan said.
“These characteristics can be very useful for predicting if a potential candidate is suited for a particular position in the company and can aid in retaining and developing existing employees.
“At the end of the day, finding a candidate with the right attitude – as opposed to their skills being the defining factor – and one that fits in culturally will ensure a much better chance of success.
