Tourism Secretary to talk at HIFI

The co-hosts of the Hotel Investment Forum India (HIFI), BHN and Horwath HTL, have revealed the event’s keynote speaker. India’s Minister of Tourism, Kumari Selja, will address delegates at the Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre 0n 12-14 January. Jim Burba, President of HIFI host, BHN, said; “We are very pleased to have Kumari Selja address the delegates at HIFI next week in Mumbai. Her leadership and vision on how tourism can become a part of the national agenda in India should make for an invaluable conversation for the hotel investment community gathered at HIFI.” HIFI will focus on hotel and tourism investment opportunities in India, which has seen a rapidly growing economy and expansion of its hotel and tourism industry. Investment interest in the Indian hotel sector has increased significantly over the past several years, recognising the potential for investment and operations in a large rapidly growing economy.
