Ho Chi Minh City-based Vietbooks Corporation has launched a series of chain stores across Vietnam offering the latest guidebooks, maps and postcards, the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported yesterday. Stores have opened in key tourist hubs such as Hanoi, HCMC and Phu Quoc Island, providing visitors with a range of information sources.
“Vietnam’s tourism industry is well-placed for a rosy future, but has a lack of quality, locally produced guidebooks, tourist maps and postcards,” Vietbooks’ General Manager, Le Tran Truong An, was quoted saying.
