Five French tourists got their first taste of New York with a high-speed police chase through the city streets that ended with their unlicensed taxi crashing. According to a report in The Times of London, the tourists were lured into the unlicensed cab outside New York’s JFK airport on Tuesday.
The illegal cabbies were approached by police for “hustling” the travellers and sped off with the tourists inside, knocking the officer to the ground.
The police gave chase with their lights flashing and sirens blaring, until the taxi crashed through a gate in Brooklyn. The illegal cabbies were nabbed by police.
