Town Square Dubai development scoops global award

Town Square, Dubai’s first-of-its-kind smartly designed, stylish, green neighbourhood by Nshama, has won the prestigious Gold Nuggets 2016 Award for ‘Best International Site Plan.’
The development, which is not only residential, but offers a raft of entertainment, retail and leisure facilities for international tourists, is located in New Dubai, near Al Barsha, in close proximity to Arabian Ranches Golf Course, Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club and Al Maktoum International Airport, near the site for the World Expo 2020.
International jury members with strong industry credentials said they was ‘very impressed’ with the outdoor articulation and scale of the 750-acre Town Square, which received the most votes of all 665 entries.

Town Square is anchored by a central square that is the size of 16 football fields. A number of lifestyle choices await residents and visitors such as Vida Town Square Dubai hotel and a Reel Cinemas cineplex. Residents are also in easy access of a 2.5 million sq ft retail precinct featuring more than 600 stores and F&B outlets, green trails, outdoors sports courts and cycling tracks, among other amenities.
The site utilisation of Town Square takes into account the provision of day-care facilities, playgrounds, play zones for all ages, swimming pools, fitness centre, athletic spa, interactive water features, skate parks, playgrounds, adventure zones, modern medical facilities and splash parks.
