Flights to and from UK airports face delays today after the UK’s air traffic control system failed this morning. According to a report by the BBC, Air Traffic Control’s (NATS) monitoring system failed which meant flight details had to be put in manually. The system was restored at 9am BST today but minor delays are still taking place across UK airports. Passengers have been urged to check in as usual.
