Travelocity Business launches in Asia-Pacific

From November, the agency will extend its services to existing clients with managed travel needs in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan. The Asia-Pacific rollout follows the successful launch of TBiz services in the United Kingdom and European Union in early 2006.
A statement from Tbiz said it’s broadening its automation-focused model to serve their clients in North America and Europe who are increasingly traveling to the Asia-Pacific region. It will working closely with Travelocity-owned ZUJI to do that. It added that at this juncture, it would not pursue not pursue local corporate travel opportunities in Asia-Pacific countries.
Tbiz, which now manages more than US$800 million in annual travel spend, announced the Asia-Pacific expansion at the Association of Corporate Travel Executives Global Education Conference in Munich.
