Tune Hotels has opened two new properties in Indonesia and the Philippines.
The 155-room Tune Hotel Davao opened on 17 December 2013 in the southern Philippine island of Mindanao, and was followed up on 19 December by the 157-room Tune Hotel Bekasi in West Java, Indonesia.
“2013 has been a great year for us,” said Mark Lankester, CEO of Tune Hotels. “Including the newly-opened Tune Hotel Davao and Tune Hotel Bekasi, we have launched three new hotels each in the Philippines and Indonesia this year alone. By early 2014, three more are coming up in Indonesia and another in the Philippines, and these underscore our plans for the two countries.”
All Tune properties operate a ‘pay-as-you-use’ concept that offers room-only rates with the option of paying for other amenities like air-conditioning, towels and toiletries, in-room Wi-Fi and satellite TV service.
There are now seven Tune Hotels in operation in the Philippines and six in Indonesia, along with 11 in Malaysia, four in Thailand, five in the UK and one each in Australia, India and Japan.
