Turkish Airlines to launch 11 new destinations

Turkish Airlines announced that the airline will expand its extensive network by adding 11 new routes in 2011. Europe’s fastest growing airline, and the world’s eighth biggest carrier, will begin to operate three weekly flights to Guangzhou in China from 30th January, four weekly flights to Los Angeles from 3rd March and four weekly flights to Shiraz in Iran on 14th March. Turkish Airlines is also planning to start new flights to Malaga and Valencia in Spain, Salonika in Greece, Toulouse in France, Manila in the Philippines, and Naples, Turin and Genoa in Italy. A Star Alliance member, Turkish Airlines currently flies to 171 destinations, including 130 international and 41 domestic routes.
