Turkish plane skids of Mumbai runway

Turkish Airways plane with 97 passengers and crew on board skidded off the runway at the Mumbai Airport early Friday. There were no injuries to anyone on the aircraft. The Turkish Airways flight TK-720 was arriving from Istanbul to Mumbai. Soon after landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, it skidded off the rapid exit taxiway N8 and got stuck in the mud, reported IANS. The incident happened after the scheduled flight landed around 4:13 am Friday. As a result of the incident, the main runway was closed for nearly four hours until the aircraft was removed.
