UAE-Nigeria sign aviation deal

The United Arab Emirates has signed an air services Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nigeria in Abu Dhabi, the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation has reported. Under the agreement Etihad, Emirates and Air Arabia will be allowed increased flight frequencies to Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, Lagos and Kuna. Technical co-operation programmes will also be undertaken to train Nigerian aviation personnel in the areas of airport management, safety and security.
