This news will be especially pleasing for those who like winter sports, because the ski season launches in Georgia at the beginning of December. Ukraine International carries one set of ski equipment per passenger free of charge.
No visa is required for United Kingdom citizens and Georgia offers very competitive prices for accommodation and skiing.
UIA flights to Tbilisi are operated by Boeing 737 aircraft with business and economy service classes.
“We have experienced good passenger demand on our Tbilisi service, which was opened by UIA in 2007. This allows us to develop the route and to increase its frequency,” said Sergey Fomenko, Vice-President Sales and Marketing. “From the beginning of the 2010 Summer schedule we plan to increase the number of UIA`s own flights from Kiev to Tbilisi to daily.”
Together with its partners - AeroSvit, Windrose and Georgian Airlines – Air Zena, UIA will offer its passengers the opportunity to fly from Kiev to Tbilisi 15 times a week.
