Britain will sign an agreement with an Abu Dhabi renewable energy company to cooperate on clean energy technologies, Reuters has reported UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown as saying. The deal with Masdar will include wind and solar energy as well as carbon capture and storage.
Meanwhile Brown also visited Qatar, where the Gulf state agreed to invest GBP150 million (US$243.4 million) in a British low-carbon energy technology fund.
