The Bath Priory is set to open the UK’s first L’Occitane Spa: The Garden Spa by L’Occitane later this month.
The new spa will be the only L’Occitane Spa in the UK and will feature exclusive treatments, including bespoke therapies created in partnership with the luxury, Provencal brand.
Offering four refurbished treatment rooms, including one dual room, each will be themed to reflect key L’Occitane ingredients such as verbena and lavender, designed to offer a taste of Provence in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath. The new spa will feature a new relaxation room with double doors opening onto the award-winning gardens, ideal for relaxing before or after treatments, a luxurious nail bar offering manicures and pedicures in peaceful surroundings and a retail space dedicated to L’Occitane’s aromatic products made from only the finest natural ingredients.
The signature treatment at The Garden Spa by L’Occitane will be the 60-minute Verbena Relaxing Massage. Renowned for its soothing and restorative properties, the aromatic verbena is a key herbal ingredient in the South of France. The Verbena Relaxing Massage combines Swedish effleurage, Chinese acupressure and Balinese massage techniques to stimulate circulation, ease tension and relieve stress, leaving the mind calmed and the body soothed and nurtured.
The spa will offer a full range of treatments using L’Occitane products. Each contains ingredients with proven effectiveness fused with traditional therapies, to offer a true voyage of the senses designed to rejuvenate body and soul. Expert facials, such as the ‘Immortelle Secret of Youth’ smoothes and firms for visibly younger-looking skin, while body massages to meet all needs will include ‘Aromachologie Relaxing Massage’ for the perfect night’s sleep and the sublime ‘Shea Nourishing Comfort Massage’.
