Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is marking its 50th anniversary in 2026 by hosting over 500 UK travel agents on its Super Ships. The initiative begins in March with 150 agents boarding the new Super Ship Emilie during the Ultra Luxury Showcase. This event aims to enhance agents' understanding of Uniworld's offerings, as explained by Chris Townson, the UK and Europe Managing Director.
The Super Ship Emilie, inspired by Gustav Klimt's muse Emilie Flöge, will debut on the Rhine in March before moving to the Danube. It will feature new itineraries such as "Capital Cities of the Danube" and "Vineyards and Palaces of the Danube." The Ultra Luxury Showcase, running from 17 to 19 March, will include presentations and workshops with partners like Seabourn and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Most agents will attend by invitation, but Uniworld is offering a booking incentive for eight additional spots. Agents can enter by making bookings from 1 January to 5 February, with winners announced weekly.
Samantha Bates, a previous winner of a Uniworld fam trip, highlighted the value of experiencing the brand firsthand. "Nothing beats experiencing a brand firsthand, and this was truly exceptional," she said.
Throughout 2026, Uniworld plans to host a minimum of 500 agents on its ships, with further announcements expected. Townson noted, "This is just the start of the unveiling of our 50th year celebrations."
