VBRATA hosts South America workshop

Visit Brazil TravelAssociation (VBRATA) held its first United South America workshop in London last night. The event has been launched as a joint collaboration betweentourist boards, airlines and associations to promote South American destinationsto the travel trade. “The whole initative of bringing the region together wentreally well,” Chris Fuzinatto, director UK and Ireland for Brazilian TouristOffice told Travel Daily. “Around 150 people turned up, which is fantastic.”Travel agents and tour operators were addressed by the Brazil Tourist Office,LAN, Iberia and TAM Airlines, followed by a speed networking session withcountry representatives. These included LATA, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile,Venezuela and Bolivia.
