Visit Brazil Travel Association (VBRATA) has launched a new campaign focused on the lesser-known state of Maranhão following a new partnership.
UK tour operators and trade will be introduced to the destination through online training and fam trips taking place in 2015.
Agents that complete the training by 20 December can win fam trip places as well as meals for two people in Brazilian restaurants and an iPad Air.
New brochures will also be distributed to the UK trade.
“We want UK visitors to discover one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. Maranhão has the perfect mix between exuberant natural beauty, architecture and historical heritage. We are extremely proud to promote such a unique destination,” said Chris Fuzinatto, chairman of VBRATA EUROPE. “Collaborations as such are crucial to attend the increasing demands of a growing market for new Brazilian destinations.”
