Kuoni has listed Vietnam, Mexico and Cuba as its top growing long-haul holiday destinations for British travellers.
In a new report out by the tour operator today, all three destinations have jumped significantly in its sales tables as new routes and hotels have opened up.
However none of the destinations managed to topple the Maldives off the best-selling chart, based on advance sales until the end of January 2014.
This was followed by Thailand in second place, then Sri Lanka, UAE, USA, Mauritius, Malaysia, Cuba, Antigua and Singapore.
The tour operator also found that with the pound’s strength against several currencies long-haul destinations are providing as much on-ground value as a European break.
