Vietnam, Mexico to boost tourism cooperation

Vietnam and Mexico have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fields of tourism and culture, the Vietnam National Tourism Administration has announced. The Southeast Asian country’s Minister of Culture, Sports & Tourism, Hoang Tuan Anh, visited Mexico from 23-28 May, attending the opening ceremony Mexico City’s ‘Vietnam Week’, and meeting with officials. During the meetings, the two sides agreed to hold joint exhibitions and culture weeks, as well as to sign a three-year agreement for sports cooperation, and support Vietnam’s Halong Bay in its bid to become one of the world’s ‘New Seven Wonders’.
