Viking Hellas joins UK BSP

Viking Hellas has joined the IATA’s Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) in the UK. The airline, which is part of the Viking Airlines group, will fly weekly to Erbil and Sulaimaniyah in Iraq from Manchester, via Athens. It is distributed through Amadeus GDS using the VQ code. “These are important services connecting the North West of England with the rapidly developing economy of Iraq,” said the airline’s Head of Sales at Flight Directors Vikki Joyce. “We understand the important role business travel agents play in developing this market and accordingly have joined the UK BSP, allowing IATA agents throughout the UK to issue tickets on all Viking Hellas services starting immediately.” The airline is also planning a series of fam trips to Athens.
