Virgin has announced that passengers will now be able to gain loyalty points or air miles across all its four airlines. Under the new agreement, members of Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club, Virgin America’s Elevate and v Australia/Virgin Blue Velocity can earn miles on whichever Virgin-branded carrier they are on. Members will be able to redeem points later this year or into 2011. “This new frequent flyer program further allows us to reward travelers who prefer to fly with, and remain loyal to, the Virgin branded airlines and we hope this offers an added incentive to do so,” said Virgin Atlantic Chief Executive Steve Ridgway.
