Dubai gets upgraded with 50% more seats this winter
Virgin Atlantic is delivering its strongest ever winter schedule to Dubai, with a 50% increase in seat capacity year on year. Due to a 72% surge in demand compared to 2024, the airline has introduced the Airbus A350, the largest in the airline’s fleet, bringing a more spacious, stylish experience across Upper Class, Premium and Economy cabins, along with the airline’s signature inflight social space, The Booth.

Cancun comeback: Mexico’s most vibrant beach destination returns
After a six-year hiatus, Virgin Atlantic is heading back to the golden beaches of Cancun. Starting in October, the airline will offer the only direct flights from London Heathrow, whisking sunseekers to the heart of Mexico’s Caribbean coast aboard the Boeing 787-9, with all the signature service and flair Virgin Atlantic is famous for.

Cape Town is calling with 15% more seats and increased season length
With travellers eager to explore South Africa’s culture, coast and cuisine, Virgin Atlantic is increasing capacity to Cape Town by nearly 15% this winter. With a 38% increase in bookings compared to 2024, the airline is also extending the season, which begins in October through April, giving even more time for unforgettable experiences, from safari drives to vineyard tours and Table Mountain sunsets. Whether it's spotting penguins on Boulders Beach, exploring the vibrant food scene, or tracing the Garden Route, Cape Town continues to shine as a top pick for adventure with a luxury twist.
