Virgin Atlantic pens full content deal with Travelport GDS

Travelport GDS has announced the signing of a multi-year, full content agreement with Virgin Atlantic, giving all Galileo- and Worldspan-connected travel agents access to the airline’s full published fares and inventory. The global agreement, which also includes access to the airline’s lowest web fares, extends a long-standing relationship between the two organisations.
Jon Harding, Virgin Atlantic’s General Manager International & Distribution, said; “Agents remain an essential part of our multi-channel distribution strategy as we look to build and grow. Travelport’s Galileo and Worldspan GDS platforms offer us exceptional reach and we are delighted to continue our close working relationship.”
