Virgin Holidays has opened three new overseas lounges to expand its ‘rockstar service’. The new social spaces have been opened at the Sea Breeze in Barbados and the Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai, as well as the Hilton Ras Al Khaimah. Each lounge has free internet, phone and iPod chargers, games consoles and iPads loaded with newspapers, travel guides and applications. “The lounges provide a bit of extra social space where customers can catch up with the news from home, play games or just escape the midday heat,” said Robin Colbeck, brand manager of Virgin Holidays. “The lounges are complimentary to all Virgin Holidays customers, even if they’re not staying in the hotel.” Virgin Holidays concierges will also be based at the hotels to help with any queries.
