Finland is catching the interest of Indian outbound travellers says the Scandinavian nation’s tourism promotion agency.
Speaking at a promotional event in Mumbai last weekend, a Visit Finland spokesman said; “Finland has already caught the fancy of an increasing number of Indians travelling to Europe due to its offer of unique experiences which include fresh air, open spaces, pristine natural beauty and urban experience.” IANS report that the Finnish agency is aiming to tap the huge potential of India’s outbound travel market, particularly in Mumbai, by showcasing the country’s tourism products at travel trade shows.
As well as the scenic and natural beauty of the place, Visit Finland is pushing the country as an international MICE destination with state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure.
