VisitBritain deploys celebs for new campaign

VisitBritain has launched a new international advertising campaign featuring a host of British celebrities. Dame Judy Dench, Dev Patel, Twiggy, Rupert Everett and Jamie Oliver are amongst the celebrities who have been deployed to ‘invite the world’ to the UK and were shot all across the UK. They will be used in key inbound markets such as the US and Europe, as well as China and India. Each celebrity has also shot a short film from the UK location of their choice, which are on VisitBritain’s website. “This is our first global TV campaign for ten years and marks the start of an ambitious marketing programme.
