VisitBritain has sent 10 3D works of art on a world tour to promote the destination in the second phase of its ‘You’re Invited’ marketing campaign. The nine pieces, designed by street artists Joe and Max, will allow potential future tourists to virtually pose next to famous British landmarks. The pieces will be displayed in 10 cities including Singapore, Sydney, Delhi, Calais, Stockholm, Los Angles and Sao Paulo. “Great Britain 3D is the first ever global tour of 3D art with the sole purpose of promoting a destination to an overseas audience,” said Sandie Dawe, chief executive of VisitBritain. “This is a fun, engaging and effective way of taking some of Britain’s most famous icons right into the heart of cities around the world”.
