VNA in bid to join SkyTeam Alliance

Vietnam Airlines (VNA) has signed an agreement towards becoming a member of the SkyTeam Alliance, according to a Thanh Nien News report. In a press release, the carrier was reported saying it would “undertake exclusive discussions to become a part of SkyTeam during the year 2010, pending fulfilment of the alliance’s membership requirements”.
The 14-member SkyTeam Alliance includes Air France, KLM, Korean Air, Delta Air Lines and China Southern Airlines.
