Wataniya Airways, Kuwait’s new premium service airline, has announced the launch of two new routes. From March 2009 the carrier will launch direct services from its Kuwait base to Lebanese capital, Beirut, and Bahrain’s Manama hub. The new services will be launched following the delivery of Wataniya’s second leased 122-seat Airbus A320, which is expected by the end of February.
Commenting on the new routes, Wataniya Airways CEO George Cooper said; “Beirut and Bahrain are immensely important routes for Kuwaiti travellers and we expect to offer a combination of advantageous schedules with superior service to our guests that will differentiate the Wataniya Airways travel experience from that of other commercial carriers.”
