Western China high-speed rail link opens

A high-speed railway has launched in China linking Zhengzhou in Henan province, with Shaanxi province’s capital, Xi’an. According to a Xinhua report, the 505km line first of its kind in central and western China, and will cut the travel time between the two cities from more than six hours to less than two.
